Since 2016, Community Justice Action Fund has led national efforts to end gun violence in Black and Brown communities. As a member of their communications team, I strengthened their digital presence, expanded their audience by 4,000+ followers, and supported high-level event branding for convenings including the Congressional Black and Hispanic Caucuses, SXSW, the Rocket Summit, and White House engagements — while maintaining strategic press and platform communications.

“Make It Home After Homecoming”: A Safety Guide

This safety guide was created during HBCU homecoming season to promote community-based violence prevention. The graphic combined practical safety reminders with culturally relevant messaging that resonated with HBCU traditions and celebrations. The goal was to encourage collective responsibility and reinforce the idea that protecting one another is part of community care.
